Anyone not already on DraftKings should see this weekend as a prime opportunity to join the mobile sportsbook.
New users can get 100-1 odds on any NFL game Sunday or Monday.
Although there is a $1 max bet, the promo gives bettors an opportunity to make $100 on what are a handful of NFL mismatches in Week 2.
DraftKings seeks to draw more into fold with NFL Week 2 promos
DraftKings, Indiana’s most popular sportsbook, is looking to grow its profile with promos like this weekend’s “100-1 on Any Team“.
To take advantage, new users should create a DraftKings account and deposit at least $5.
Then visit the Sportsbook Promos/Rewards page and pick the game of choice by clicking “Boost This Game.” Once picked, the choice cannot be changed.
Users will be issued 100-1 odds, or +10000, to use on either team in the game.
To finish, add a chosen team’s moneyline to the bet slip and apply the boost.
Target heavy favorites in season’s second week
Bettors may want to take advantage of the promo by using it on a heavy favorite.
There are six teams with at least -300 odds to win either Sunday or Monday:
- Buccaneers (-420) over Panthers
- Titans (-375) over Jaguars
- Chiefs (-375) over Chargers
- Steelers (-345) over Broncos
- Ravens (-335) over Texans
- 49ers (-305) over Jets
Odds of -420, for instance, give the Buccaneers an implied 80.7% chance of winning. A $1 bet on those odds would generate just 24 cents of profit.
But with DraftKings’ boost, a new user could bet $1 on the Buccaneers and, minus a major upset of Tom Brady and team, win a cool $100.
PointsBet offers another easy-money Colts boost
For the second straight week, PointsBet is offering Hoosiers a Colts Crowd Booster.
For Week 1, the spread started at Colts -7 and ended up at Colts +60.
In this case, PointsBet is giving bettors a +84 spread on the Colts when they play the Minnesota Vikings at 1 p.m. Sunday.
That means anyone betting on the Colts to cover will win as long as the Colts lose by less than 84 points. There is a $25 limit on the +100 bet, meaning bettors can profit $25.
Suffice it to say, free money. The Colts opened as three-point favorites in what will be their first home game of the year.
Why 84? The Colts made their controversial overnight move from Baltimore to Indianapolis in 1984.
While the Colts are coming off a disappointing Week 1 loss in Jacksonville, which included a devastating season-ending injury to star running back Marlon Mack, there is no chance they will lose by more than 84 to the Vikings.
Hop on this deal before 1 p.m. Sunday for a free $25.
